Chasing The Monsoon – No Ordinary World – New album and pre-order

Hi all!

We’re very pleased to announce that the debut Chasing The Monsoon album ‘No Ordinary World’ will be released on September 20th on CD, Double Vinyl, USB and Download. All are available to pre-order now from the online shop with the vinyl available direct from Burning Shed.  A huge thank you to Chris Topham @ Plane Groovy who felt this album really deserved a vinyl release and has helped make it happen.

For anyone new to the project.. who are we?

Ian Jones, a founder member of critically acclaimed symphonic/progressive rock band Karnataka, and Steve Evans, multi-million selling songwriter and producer join forces with former Karnataka vocalist Lisa Fury, guitarist Ian Simmons and special guests including world-renowned Uilleann pipe player Troy Donockley (Nightwish) to create a powerful, dynamic and evocative sound fusing lush cinematic soundscapes with progressive, Celtic and world music influences, all bound in a state-of-the-art production.

We’ve made the album available in a number of formats:

Double vinyl in gatefold sleeve pressed on heavyweight 180g vinyl. Includes free album MP3 download.

CD Deluxe Digipak with a beautiful 24 page booklet and lyrics.

Limited Edition USB stick in a presentaion box featurng the album logo. The USB stick contains the album in 24bit Wav from the orginal 24bit masters, the whole album in lossless FLAC and also the complete album as a single WAV file so you can hear the album as it was intended to be heard.

Download: Wav 24 bit identical to the original 24bit masters including an ‘album experience’ single file of the whole album. Enjoy the album in the highest audio quality
